There was another tragedy on Friday at 123rd St and 5th Ave NE. A developer who is in the process of getting permits for new houses decided to cut down all the trees on the lot. Read the permits' statuses for yourself.

The developer did unrepairable damage to a green belt that residents need for aesthetics and to shield the highway noise. What can the city do to stop this from happening again?

Save The Trees Seattle is not against building new homes for residents. All we ask is that the builders comply with the City of Seattle's land use and environmental review process before they cut down trees.
